Sourcing Regions
Sourcing Gold from the Great Lakes & East African Region (Democratic republic of Congo(DRC), Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Southern Sudan and Sudan.
Great Lakes Gold Origins Ltd operates across several of Africa’s most productive gold belts. Our sourcing network spans five countries and multiple mining regions, each known for its rich geological deposits and established artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) communities.
All our sourcing partners undergo strict due-diligence screening, licence verification, and origin-traceability checks before joining our supply chain.
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
DRC is one of Africa’s most resource-rich gold-producing countries. We work primarily in the eastern corridor, where artisanal miners and cooperatives have long-established extraction sites. Each supply lot undergoes on-ground verification before entering Uganda or regional export hubs.
